Challenge Academy has been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge.This is the only nationally recognised indicator of good quality educational provision and effective risk management. The purpose of treh LOtC Quality Badge is to help schools identify good quality and safe provision, and to reduce red tape when planning educational visits. It incorporates existing safety standards for all types of activity and combines learning and safety into one easily recognisable accreditation for all organisations providing learning outside theclassroom experiences

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional sessions and outstanding value for money. All facilitated by our highly trained and experienced team (teachers, outdoor instructors and experienced facilitators).

"explorer" package

Perfect for the younger adventurers looking to get a taste for challenge. Our sessions are outcome based but can include the following:

Obstacle Course, Bouldering, Ground Challenges, Nets Adventure, Mini Ropes
Instructor led ground-based Team Activities. Perfect for KS1

Half-Day Session

£12.50 plus vat per person. Based on minimum of 20 attending
£260 plus vat unit cost if you have less than 20 attending

Lasts for minimum 2 hours
10% discount when numbers exceed 50.

Full Day Session Cost

£17.50 plus vat per person. Based on minimum of 20 attending
£340 plus vat unit cost if you have less than 20 attending.

Lasts for minimum 4.5 hrs
10% discount when numbers exceed 50.

"ADVENTURER" package

Reward, enrichment and progressive programmes, our engaging sessions can include:

Climbing Activities, 3m and 9m High Ropes, Ground Challenges, Obstacle Course, Nets Adventure, Powerfan Descender.
Team Development, Woodland Challenge, Forest Skills and Bushcraft.

A more targeted and bespoke programme for groups with specific desired outcomes. These engaging programmes are also ideal when you have smaller numbers. The following activities can be included:

Climbing Activities, 3m and 9m High Ropes, Nets Adventure, Powerfan Descender,
Team Development, Woodland Challenge, Forest Skills and Bushcraft.

We work with you to design your programme to best fit your desired outcomes. Programmes can be delivered over 1 session, a full day or a progressive programme over a number of days/sessions. Pricing varies. Ideal for Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) programmes where a higher level of facilitation and student ratio is required.

My staff could not praise you enough for our Prefect Rewards Trip. We arrived at 10am in the pouring rain and already had staff waiting in the carpark to greet us. Despite the weather, the Challenge Academy staff ensured that spirits were high and all of the pupils completed team building activities and the high ropes, the staff were on hand to motivate and encourage the pupils to push themselves out of their comfort zones. We were amazed at how much the prefects managed to achieve and were very grateful for all of the support. We will absolutely be visiting Challenge Academy again in the future Barr Beacon School

We enjoyed an amazing day out at Challenge Academy, testing all our new found 'Essential Skills'. Students got to take part in a number of team work challenges to see where their skills excel and where they may need a little more work. I thought the instructors were fantastic with them and ensured that they were engaged throughout the whole time, whilst also embedding some key life skills such as communication and teamwork.
