The manual provides links with Bags of Character activities, and also gives the facilitator guidelines on focus, intervention and objectives as well as a risk assessment for each activity

It’s always difficult to undertake a balance challenge that is safe - the design features that we have introduced (stable metal bases, pins to secure planks and playsafe timber) ensure that you can focus on facilitation rather than accident avoidance. This is a powerful team activity that puts the focus on team unity and collaboration. It’s harder than you think when one plank is 20cm shorter than the others!
